Overview

Mia is an AI learning agent my team designed in a design sprint organized by BrainStation in partnership with the the UX team at RBC Toronto.

My team was tasked with creating a digital business solution for FIGO bank that would cater to the bank’s first time credit card holders.

Project goal

The goal of the project was to create a distinct task for a native mobile app that would help demystify the complexity surrounding savings, spending and investing for post-secondary students. Through this project we also aimed to deliver value by providing incentives to keep these young customer loyal to Figo bank.

Outcome

My team was able to design a mobile prototype intended to help simplify how the target user interacts with their finances.

Our design solution was Mia, a personal financial coach that provides a library of resources where a user can search up topics of interest to increase their financial literacy. Mia is also able to learn from the user’s spending habits and proactively coach them through their financial journey.
